Wow, just a horrible story. We bought our daughter a new bunk bed. Mind you, we had to fire someone to get our money. Three times. There was nothing in stock so he had to wait a week for the mattress to arrive. The accent chair has been on the curb for a month. The delivery team appeared to pick up the mattress for three hours and said they broke the stair rails on the way out the door and "rang" with a complaint and someone would contact me that day. Well, no calls that day or the next. So I called the store and the note says they are busy answering the phone and getting back to the website for the Chat feature. After 2 hours the agent finally opens the case and I have to upload supporting photos as proof. When I take pictures I see various scratches, scuffs, missing screws and half of the actual bed rails are cracked. A few days later a technician shows up and says the damage is beyond repair and a new mattress needs to be ordered. I was told that "someone" would also get back to me within 48 hours to provide additional information. A week goes by and I have to spend another 72 hours using chat for Julie because my 72 hour limit has expired and all sales in the shopping store have ended. Good luck when I'm forced to do the policy... (Parts ordered, not sure what parts but it will take 10 business days to ship and wait for everything to show up) 30 days. It will then take 5 business days for the tech to be scheduled to install it if I choose not to do it myself.) It won't work so I call my receipt and wait about 20 minutes and someone answers. I would like to cancel my furniture at the border and would like to know my rights as a customer. The polite lady on the phone told me that I should indeed speak to a store representative and that someone else would contact me within 48 hours. No, I would like to speak to someone at the store to cancel the order. Hold again until Amanda answers only to tell me to go back to the store because they can't give credit without my card. So my broken cot, undelivered furniture and "parts" are safe and non-returnable as per policy. As a customer I am sick and tired of being insulted, Ashley will eat their words and get my money back. They lie to sell you money but can't give you what you bought... We moved into a house with nothing. I went to the ASHLEY SHITTY store, bought some furniture in August. We had to wait 6 times for delivery and now they called at 6pm on Sunday the 14th to say they can't deliver our furniture until the 20th January...? What the hell. This company is the worst company I have ever dealt with….
I bought the sofa and living room sets with GBS insurance. Equal assurance with Ashley suit service. They set a schedule. No call, no call to fix my wobbly desk. I was promised by the EJ customer service agent that they would send me a $100 gift card, which messed up my application. Not all were accepted. They reached out to follow him. Nobody knows about it. I could not be more upset with this store's service. If I could rate them negatively, it probably wouldn't be enough. You bought a bedroom and had to return it because everything was broken and delivered, leaving you with a broken mattress, two years of poor sleep, and excruciating back pain. I wish I could get my money back to go elsewhere but I had to stay with Ashley to get another mattress, the delivery and pick up of the new mattress is a complete mess. You bought a house full of Esli furniture - twice! (The old house and the current house) I went to use the warranty on the dining room chairs because there are absolutely none. What they called a "one-time courtesy call" required two visits, several phone calls and emails. Anyway, I was told my warranty is 1 year and it's "normal wear and tear". My husband and I are elderly and we can't imagine it being so difficult for us in the chairs. I was even given the chance to see if they had pillows and Ashley would wear them. Um...rebuilt into what two old men are having for dinner who think I'm going to buy them. So sad.
