According to USA News, the average acceptance rate for all US universities is 68%. According to the 2017-2018 American Dental Association (ADA) Dental Education Survey, the average acceptance rate for dental schools was 5.1%.

First, most dental schools will give priority to students living in the same state. If you want to go to dental school out of state, it will be much more difficult.

But this school is best for Louisiana residents. They accept only 56 Louisiana residents, 4 Arkansas residents, and 5 out-of-state residents (excluding Arkansas) per year for the Doctor of Dental Surgeon degree.

Georgia Dental College is located in Augusta as part of the University of Augusta. As a student here, you will study on campus and possibly attend one of the dental school's many clinics in Georgia - the entire fourth year of your education is dedicated to patient care. Two degrees are available: Doctor of Dentistry and a dual degree in Oral Biology.

The University of Utah School of Dentistry offers only a master's degree (Doctor of Dental Surgery degree program) and a general practice program for advanced clinical dental education.
For the DDS program, there is a regular list of required courses that include various topics in biology and chemistry that you need to study. But for this dental school you will need to observe at least 4 different dentists for a total of 40 hours!
The school accepts applicants from all states, but prefers those from surrounding states such as Utah and Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, New Mexico, Alaska, and Hawaii.
