Dental Schools In Uk For International Students - UEM offers a five-year degree in dentistry with the Título Oficial de Grado en Odontologia (British equivalent of BDS). This qualification is recognized throughout the European Union and beyond. Following European standards in higher education, the 5-year dental program consists of 300 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System).
This program is being taught in English for five years. Students must know Spanish to work with patients and have achieved B2 level by the start of the third year.

Three levels are required to apply. Access to HE qualifications is not allowed in Spain, but if you have a suitable BSc you may be able to consider this. It used to be possible for students with poor A-level grades to get into UEM, but those days are over. I think you will need to add biology and chemistry around the BBC. It is possible to apply through the BTEC, but the chances of success are limited.
If you do not meet the entry requirements, UEM also offers foundation courses in health sciences. Successful completion of this one-year course qualifies for entry into the first year of dentistry in the following year with approximately 30 ECTS recognized (ie approximately half a year). This is a great option if you have an A' level below CCC.
Previously, it was not possible, but in the second year of 2021 there were some openings. I don't know if it will happen again in 2022.
You cannot apply for a first-year place and then apply for a transfer later in the year. If the transfer floor opens (and it is neither guaranteed nor likely to open) and there is already an offer for the first year, it will be excluded from the application.

The Dental Schools Council, which represents dental schools in the UK and Ireland, has elected Professor Chris Derry as its new chair.
Professor Derry is Dean of the School of Clinical Dentistry, University of Sheffield. Commenting on his new role, Professor Derry said: Although great strides have been made in public dental health over the past decade, these strides have largely depended on the quality of dental school graduates. We must maintain high standards of education and training so that dental education continues to speak strongly.
“A major challenge in dentistry is research. We need more opportunities to do research, including support from people working in clinical academia. Professor Derry was appointed Dean of the Faculty of Clinical Dentistry at the University of Sheffield in 2015. Joining the University as Professor of Pediatric Dentistry in 2006, Professor Derry is Deputy Director of Learning and Teaching and Leader of Subject Intermediate Oral and Dental Care within the School. He is currently the program director for MClinDent in pediatric dentistry.
In addition to teaching, Professor Derry is Emeritus Consultant in Pediatric Dentistry at Charles Clifford Dental Hospital, Clinical Lead in Pediatric Dentistry and Associate Clinical Director of Charles Clifford Dental Services.
