Not worth it Rated 1 out of 5 by experts. I have installed two of these RAM units in my home, which are preferred by professional installers. It's not my choice, but it's what he showed up with. The first failed after 6 years and 2 months (only after warranty), the second after 3 years. In both cases due to tank leak failure. I called Rahim to make a warranty claim on 2nd and was informed that as a home owner I have to get a licensed plumber to make a warranty claim. I.E. I had to pay a $300-$400 installation fee! Please note that the replacement tank is only warranted for the remaining 3 years of the original warranty. Forgive me. I am satisfied with your products. I bought a competing product with a 9 year warranty (which I can claim myself), installed it myself for the same price my local installer would have charged me for a replacement rim warranty job. Lesson: Don't buy cheap.

Called tech support and asked for a new upper thermostat to be delivered in 1 or 2 days. However, today we noticed that the tank was leaking on both heating elements. Called tech support again today, it was recommended to replace the elements. They will pay for the heating elements, but still no hot water

They are not long showers. We have had this unit for several months now and I am finally motivated to write after many similar cases. I think it would fit 2 people with real/contrary water use, another big unit would be more suitable.

It is usually marked on the tank if it is lined with glass and the price seems too low to be lined with the tank.

As far as I have been able to determine, the only difference is the warranty. 629964 has a 6-year tank warranty and a 1-year parts warranty. Bill has a 6-year tank part A warranty as well as a 1-year service warranty.

Adjusting the temperature on a standard electric water heater; 1) Turn off the water heater. 2) Remove the casing access panels and insulation to expose the thermostat. 3) The protective cover of the thermostat should not be removed. 4) Adjust the heating knob to the desired temperature using a small screwdriver. 5) Replace insulation and sheath access panels. Turn on the water heater. I hope this helps. come on.
Need help with power supply (circuit breaker type) for this item. Believe the power supplier HD is wrong
Shop all items in HD today. 12 gauge 2 conductor wire (black and white) and said 20 AMP single pole circuit breaker. The heater has a black and red connecting cable. The only way to connect a single pole power supply is the black to white for the circuit breaker to the white common pins on the panel. It only supplies 110 volts to the heater. If it is rated for 240V, isn't the circuit breaker double pole single pole 20A? Then feed black to black (110V) and white to red and the white on the panel to the other pole of the breaker. (110V) power supply. There is no neutral relationship. I don't want to connect the 110 to any heater connection if it's not correct or could cause damage. I asked the shop staff about it and they said he always connected it to a single pole breaker. Need your help for a 3000W 240V heater
