Many collectors have stamps that are of little value to anyone but themselves. StampoRama collector Bob Ingraham wrote, "Modern Mint stamps are not even worth market value when sold in bulk." The Southeastern brand exposure offers a few more things when it comes to value; for example, unless a stamp or receipt is in perfect condition, unused, or issued before 1930, it has little value.
Generic or non-good collectibles should not be functionally tested or inspected prior to sale. You can get involved with local chapters of the stamp collecting society and hold exhibitions or games, would that be a problem for your collection?
If you don't know which stamp you have, you can search the database starting with the World Stamp Identifier tool before seeking expert advice.
Understanding your stamp collection is a way to protect yourself from fraud and prove to buyers that your stamp collection is genuine, including its location. Fees for a master's certificate can range from $20 to $800 through reputable sites such as the American Philatelic Society. It depends on the stamp and collection and your membership. This certificate is the first place to start for your assessment and includes the following items:

You will also be given a grade on a scale of 1 to 100, with 100 being the highest. A good grade can add more value to a stamp collection when you sell it. If the brand is in Scott's magazine, it can also give you great value. The Scott Catalog is the primary reference for stamp identification and value estimation for collectors. However, some collectors, like Ingraham, believe that the statistics are overstating the potential values.
If your collection meets the estimated value of the Scott Catalog, you'll be set. If you don't know how to get your stamp, you will need to find a quote and pay the fee. Find a validator through reputable sources such as official stamp collecting societies. The American Philatelic Society notes that you can pay anywhere from $75 to $250 an hour to evaluate/collect stamps. Some local organizations, such as the Northern Philatelic Society, may offer free appraisal services.
If your collection is not expensive, you may have luck selling your collection for a good price at local fairs, stamp shows, and online through places like eBay. Keep in mind that you may be facing more and better competition, so make sure you know what your minimum selling price will be. In addition to these options, you can sell through the following options:

Rare stamps are hard to come by and get the best price, they must be in good condition with a certificate or appraisal. Rare stamps can be sold at world-renowned auction houses such as Sotheby's, as well as through private estate auctions and well-known dealers. Limited edition sets, stamps with errors in limited editions, and rare vintage international stamps can fetch a lot of money at auction. Some rare stamp sales include:
Keep in mind that finding and selling one of these rare stamps is unlikely, but if the stamp or acquisition costs a lot of money, it should be investigated after assessing the possibility of damage or theft.
Always keep in mind that whatever the estimated value of a stamp or collectible, the stamp is what people will pay for it. The price we see may be very low (or possibly high) depending on the product at the time of sale. Therefore, it really pays to know what it takes to get the best price when selling your stamps. Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak has set a June 4 date for the casino to open. The Democratic governor said in a speech on Friday that Nevada has seen a decline in the number of cases of the coronavirus and that some restrictions on hospitalizations for COVID-19 began to be eased two weeks ago.
Sisolak's office plans to hold a news conference on Tuesday to provide more details on the opening phase, hoping that positive trends continue into the Memorial Day weekend. Nevada gambling regulators are also scheduled to meet Tuesday and review plans to reopen casinos, which must be approved at least seven days before they open.
“We all know what we've been through in the last 10 weeks. Nobody's having fun," said Bill Hornbuckle, chairman and chief executive officer of casino giant MGM Resorts International. "I can go out, go to a resort, lie in a pool, have a nice meal, sit at a dinner table. There's something to be said for that."
Most properties have been on a hot streak since June almost overnight — three months in a row of $1 billion in casino games. The city attracts more than 40 million visitors annually.
