Mecum Auctions has something for everyone and those who come like me have a lot of projects in the garage and just want to be amazed by an amazing collection of two wheeler exotica.

Chandler Harley Davidson
This is a replica of a 1934 Husqvarna 500 street racer. None of the original bikes. This real fun is as close as you can get. It was stolen for $71,500.
One cycle as above. The rear exhaust pipe is extended so that both pipes are the same length for tuning. The expansion tube made the '34 Husqvarna design a challenging design. Suspended pipes are banned in future rule books. I have been told that this car is very loud. It's loud.
Former 500 world champion Brad Lackey has bikes on the block. His green Kawasaki SR250 didn't cost $25,000 and his Kawasaki Mach III didn't cost $16,000, so you can too.
The owner of this ice racer was in no rush to sell and the $20,000 prize was not enough to clear the inventory. Could come back next year and sell for six figures. Buying a car is an unpredictable business.

This beautiful 1963 Harley-Davidson FLH Duo-Glide fetched $44,000. This is not healing. This car is in its original condition. He has owned Harley for the past 57 years.
I've been hit by a lot of people on 1971 CZ 400s. I wish I had bought one of these instead of my 71 Maco. But not for $12,100! That's a good price for a motorcycle with no racing record.

How can you not love this Benelli? The box style on the saddle just struck me when I saw this bike.
You won't believe this. $42,900 This 1915 Ever Johnson with its Aerothrust motor commanded a winning price. At least the owner will always have a tail.
Of The World's Most Expensive Motorcycles
The owner of this Suzuki TM400 does not really want to part with his son in a chain. The bid reached $20,000 but he was short of the limit. I think to pass that mark you need Roger de Caster to compete for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Someone stole this Harley-Davidson Tupper Scooter for $5775. Harley has just revealed a prototype that will bring them back to the scooter business.
This Moto Guzzi came in 1954 with its own wheels. You can win this car with a price of $4700.
A book should be written about this light 1967. The bike is one of two prototypes known to be built. Didn't get to work. The record was enough to earn $143,000! I thought Tom White was going to hit him out of the sky.

It's crazy what those Honda Z50s command. The $8,250 this little guy fetched wasn't the least expensive Z50 sold at the show. It is difficult to imagine that they will increase the value. People are buying Triumphs and small BSA's.
This 1953 Mustang fetched $3575. The car was sold as "show only", which means it doesn't have many internal parts. The motor and powder are placed close to each other in front of the cylinder.
The description of this car in the sales brochure doesn't say it was originally done by Rick Brigitte so $44,000 for a copy. It can be combined with other documents. Auctioneering is a tough business.
Sorry, I took it again. This is my favorite car of the auction. This 1968 Triumph Rickman Cafe Racer is fun to ride and steals the show wherever you park it. I really hope it's run and not locked up in a restaurant. Available for $31,900.
Sin City Indian Motorcycle
Larry Ward is one of my favorite guys when I cover motocross for Motocross Journal because he is so knowledgeable and articulate throughout his career. His race bike cost $13,700, a steal compared to Rick Brigitte's Yamaha.
Ray Mungenast (left) and Chris Carter started out as racers and never left the sport. Ray is the owner of Mungenast Motorsports while Chris is Mr. Motion Pro. They are both collectors.
$19,500 for this 57 Harley is a great value. There is no way you can restore a '57 for anywhere near that price.
There are many glasses at Mecum Auctions that I recommend using glasses. The quality and quantity of the stock is required.
