Games: The casino offers 2,000 state-of-the-art slot machines, including 164 in the newly updated high-limit VIP section, over 25 table games and a large separate area for 500 non-smoking slots. A regular feature exclusive to the machines is the 'Winning Wheel' which appears during play and can pay out up to $1,000 instantly. A special slot bank hosts a slot tournament every Saturday, with two participants going to Las Vegas at the end.

Howard Silver, vice president of food and beverage, said after Red Lobster restaurants, they serve more lobster here than anywhere else in the country: 350,000 pounds a year. If everything at the gourmet buffet tastes like it's made from scratch, that's because it is. “We don't open a can, we don't open a box, everything we use is fresh and local, everything is prepared in-house,” Silver said. "You can feel the difference." And the rows of fresh bread and the 30-meter wall with 50 desserts? It takes a team of 18 to 20 people in the bakery to create them. For a romantic dinner, head to the club's Black & Blue Steakhouse, where upscale dishes feature premium ingredients such as Brandt beef, Chicken Mary and Sonoma lamb. Valley View has a total of six dining options.
Hotel: small, elegant and elegantly furnished hotel with 108 rooms and 12 suites is completely non-smoking. Deluxe Amenity Rooms are 800 square feet, while one-bedroom, 1,050-square-foot suites have floor-to-ceiling windows, showers and bathtubs, plush robes and slippers, and two balconies. Ultra-comfortable pillows can be purchased for $25. Hotel stays also include a VIP breakfast in the BLD cafe. The pocket gift shop has a well-stocked selection of low-key items and Valley View goodies.

In a statement, Valley View said it will offer guests a "much more spacious casino, restaurants and hotel" as well as take additional precautions. Guests will be required to wear face coverings before entering the casino.

The structure of the hotel consists of reinforced concrete and post-tensioned decks, EIFS cladding with glaze and glued stone. The scope of work included extensive site development and overhaul of the existing casino structure, as well as the extension of the existing structure to build a new smoke-free casino.

The entire development had to be built at set levels above the steep slope and required complex arm systems that varied from site to site. Due to the challenging nature of the site and our customer-centric philosophy, we used BIM to assist with the design of support and foundation systems, the development of subcontracts and site scope packages, and the identification and coordination of existing and new utilities on site. .. We also use BIM in the construction phase, when coordinating mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and fire protection activities. Citrix GoToMeeting® was used extensively to conduct virtual online BIM coordination meetings with the rest of the project team. Although not contracted as a design-build project, working with an assistive design approach proved more beneficial to all involved in the project, allowing the design team to make adjustments early in the design process. Our solutions-oriented approach delivered benefits throughout the project, including the bonus of completing the hotel two months ahead of schedule.
