I chose one of my favorite wedding venues, The Side Porch, for the shoot because I just love how beautiful a whitewashed barn looks! Plus they really thought of everything you could possibly need and it's a great wedding venue!
Of course I had to ask Chelsea from Flowers & Blooms to provide the bouquets for the occasion and help put the finishing touches on my wedding invitation suite.

I always enjoy watching wedding photography behind the scenes. It's so fun to watch what's going on around me during the shoot and then see the results from behind the lens!
J. Kristen was Lauren Flenor from Aveda Salon who did the bridal model's hair and Whitney Jones was our makeup artist. # Dream Team Lauren spent over an hour doing each girl's hair and Whitney over twenty five minutes to create a bohemian look for each model.
While we waited for hair and makeup, Chelsea and I spent about an hour putting together different sets of wedding attire. Before a big shoot, it's always good to get into a creative mood and release nervous energy! However, we definitely basked in the heat outside - it was over 80 degrees - as it worked like magic!
And sometimes I hope to be IN FRONT of the camera! This great shot was taken by my good friend Danny from Apple Ridge Photography She came to join in the fun and help provide some much needed morale as we tackled this five hour endeavor at Kingsport's best braid shop! i'm not sure
