NOTICE TO ONLINE SELF-STORAGE AUCTION BUYERS In accordance with our Terms of Use Agreement, the buyer agrees to the following:
Buyers of winning bids must contact the property manager to arrange payment and claim winning bids within 24 hours. Premium payments for winning bids must be made within 24 hours of auction close. Failure to pay within this period will result in forfeiture of the auction and suspension of the account. Bidding starts at $1, $10, or $20. You can increase the bid amount in $10 increments or set a MAXIMUM BID that is at least $20 or more above the current bid amount. Any bids placed within the last 3 minutes of the auction will extend the auction time by an additional 3 minutes from that time. In addition to our standard subscription, the winning bidder is charged a buyer's premium of 15% per unit. With our Executive Membership, the winning bidder is exempt from the buyer's premium for a recurring monthly payment of $59.95 (billing anniversary style). Subject to availability, a 10% deposit may be charged to the winning bidder's credit card at the end of the auction. This amount will be deducted from the final amount due at the institution. Bidders will thoroughly clean the unit before the end of the 48-72 hour cleaning period, adhere to facility rules and regulations, and leave it in a swept condition. Bid winners understand that they are entering into a binding purchase agreement. Failure to pay by either party and complete cleaning of the unit will result in the suspension of the bidder's account. The facility reserves the right to cancel the auction at any time. A tenant who does not fulfill his obligations has the legal right to correct the bill and thereby cancel the auction. This is valid until payment is received from both the winning bidder and the storage facility in question, unless otherwise stated in state laws or lien regulations. Winning bidders are responsible for their winning bids, taxes and other fees associated with their account regardless of whether they claim ownership of the unit(s). By entering and accepting our Terms of Use, all bidders agree not to dispute credit card charges processed through www. If the 0bid(s) or the highest bidder and/or subsequent bidders in the sale of the unit do not pay and the sale proceeds, the unit becomes the property of the seller and he may dispose of the goods or re-list the unit for sale, at the discretion of the seller.
