What Types Of Gi Bills Are Available?
Under Department of Veterans Affairs regulations, if you do not select a "VA" registration type, you must complete a registration consent form. If you enroll through Federal Student Aid, our VA office will send you a VA Student Consent Form to complete. We cannot submit your registrations for your courses to the VA without a completed form. In addition, you will be required to complete a consent form for each session/course you enroll in where you have not selected the VA payment option.
Once your registration is established and your funding is confirmed, we will submit your registration (Form 22-1999) to the VA during the second week of class, following the add/remove period.
You must confirm your enrollment through the WAVE system to receive a call from the VA to make your monthly payment. You can already start checking your registration on the last day of the month in which you have course registrations. Note: Students taking advantage of Section 35 DEA benefits do not need to verify their attendance through the WAVE system.

The Harry W. The Colmery Veterans Assistance Act allows the post-9/11 GI Bill to be allocated and transferred to eligible beneficiaries upon the death of a veteran/service member or subject to an unused transfer.
The law comes into force on August 1, 2018 and applies to deaths that occur after August 1, 2009.
