"At this point, the $15 minimum wage that they're supposed to get back in 2019 is not going away," said New Democrat Leader Andrea Horwath.

After Ford's Progressive Conservatives won the June 2018 election, they scrapped a proposed raise to $15 an hour, forcing employers to cut jobs.
Arch Chhetri, who is only allowed to work 20 hours a week as an international student, said the pay rise will put more money in her pocket.
"I understand that $15 is just an extra dollar, but it still makes a difference and it's important," Chhetri, a first-year Humber fashion student, told Humber et Cetera.
