We left at night after midnight. We ordered bar drinks, loaded up on potato chips, sliders, and fish and chips! Alex the Bartender provided excellent bartending/waiting service as the restaurant was closed as it was midnight. Plate bases that usually go well with bar wood have proven to be stable on bar plates! The food was well cooked! The best ingredients for a delicious meal! The Village Pub has the best service and best food in Vegas! They take classic bar food to a top Zagats rating! We highly recommend Country Village Pub in Desert Shores for a relaxing drink and dinner any time, day or night!

The Village Pub is my favorite little hideaway. There is PLENTY of food and the price is very affordable. Oh and the service was great. He usually goes there once a week. Be happy!!!
We went to a 24th anniversary dinner and the food was delicious! We had baked potato skins for dessert and a steak dinner with baked potatoes and green beans. We made chicken and wild rice soup and the wife made a salad. Everything was delicious and the staff were attentive while we enjoyed our meal.
The Village Pub & Casino is located off the drive and is a local favorite. You can expect a group of locals to come every day to eat and play. The drinks are good and the staff are friendly. This is one place where everyone knows your name. It has a great menu, not a crazy amount of options but a solid value. And being a vegetarian I had salads to match.
We are regulars of the Pub. We always enjoy their good food and atmosphere. We are there in the mornings most of the time. It seems that their staff has recently changed but some of the women who have been there for years are gone. The new staff didn't seem to get along. We had to wait a few minutes to take our order and it wasn't until we flagged down the host that he took our order, not the waiter. I hope that this change will not last because we can feel the anger of the people.

The food was not bad. It is best kept with hamburgers. I wasn't impressed with the onion soup or the taco soup. Half of the shelf when dry and hard as a rock. When we told our student he was disappointed, he was. The taco salad was excellent
The city is beautiful! Great food, great prices and 35 gaming machines built into the bar. The staff is second to none!!
I'm on a low carb diet so I thought I'd stick to the salad from the bag but the chef's salad was great and the lettuce was crisp and crunchy. The ham and turkey were moist and very flavorful. I also appreciated that you chose the clothes and came aside without asking that way. I will definitely order the chef salad again and recommend this Village Pub to anyone.
