If you are not replacing the two recommended springs, remember which one counts as the "left side spring" and the "right side spring". This is determined by the top edge. Install the new spring from the lower end. Slide the fixed end into the hole and you can clamp the bent parts. Finally, you need to slide in the second hole to lock it. Then make an arm of the "X" and push the top end into the tube.
