Jewish Assisted Living Facilities Las Vegas Nv - Tikkun Olam's Jewish concept of "repairing the world" embodies the moral values and obligations that all Jews must treat and repair our world. These principles were recently demonstrated when more than 200 volunteers from the Las Vegas community joined in the good work. This event takes place on Sunday, April 10th.
Organized by members of the Jewish Federation of Jewish Emerging Leaders (JewEL) in association with the American Israeli Council (IAC).

The Good Day Planning Committee includes Dr. Azin Azma, Hadas Newman, Michael BenShimon, Michelle Dahan, Ben Wegener, David Shafshak, Lehi Eshkelon, Allan Levin, Daniel Rubinstein, Andrew Spivak, and Ariel Ventura. Volunteers participated in more than 10 different community services and touched hundreds of people in Las Vegas.

President Jewel said, "I am proud to help organize this great day of service" for the third consecutive year of Good Work Day. "I am pleased that so many young leaders have volunteered with teens, college students, children and other community members of all ages and backgrounds."
"Our Las Vegas community is committed to making a difference in our city," added JewEL Board Member Michael BenShimon. "It is inspiring and meaningful to see so many people come together with Bikkun Olam's shared vision."
On Good Work Day, more than 200 volunteers participated in 10 projects across the city and affected the lives of thousands of people in need. Some of the highlights of this year's project include:
"There are so many great service plans to choose from, it's hard to decide where to go," noted JewEL member Sam Cohen. "I decided to help Las Vegas Senior Life customers bring home an Easter basket, and I'm so happy that I gave the basket to the woman we gave her, full of joy and gratitude. "Cry and thank us for giving us gifts. Opportunity to celebrate Easter. She said she could not do it through the holidays without giving us Passover food." For five consecutive years, Good Job volunteers have been making Kosher Passover baskets for 70 Las Vegas Senior Lifeline and Jewish Family Service Agency clients to celebrate the holidays.
