Modern, elegant and built on stilts to withstand storms, the new Courtyard by Marriott Fort Walton Beach-West Destin is a versatile choice for a variety of travelers. Families can relax on Sugar Beach or visit local attractions, couples can enjoy craft beer at the bistro, and business travelers can fuel up with Starbucks before heading to a meeting.
It also doesn't have wild spring break cheerleaders, as you must be at least 23 years old to check in.

If you like to keep busy (or keep your kids busy), Wyndham Garden Fort Walton Beach Destin is the ideal seaside retreat. Lots of activities are always on offer, from kayak rentals to free bikes. Games include ping pong tables, corn holes and an entire arcade where each game costs a quarter. Good luck getting your kids in the sun!
