UPDATE: A fourth employee at a Walmart Supercenter in North Las Vegas has tested positive for the virus, store sources said.
Sources said management notified employees of the new case, but did not disclose where the infected employee worked the previous day, or the personnel department.
A spokesperson for Walmart Inc. Charles Crowson refused to confirm the fourth case. "We prioritize the privacy of our colleagues at this time and do not confirm positive cases in our stores," he said.
Three Walmart employees at a store in North Las Vegas have tested positive for the virus, store sources told the Journal Review.

It comes amid positive tests among employees at other grocery stores in the Las Vegas Valley, including Smith's Food and Drug, and Vaughn and Costco last week.
Walmart Supercenter, 3950 W. Lake Mead Blvd. Employees were notified by management last week about three cases in small groups of 5-10 people, sources working at the store said. The source requested anonymity for fear of losing his job.
According to the source, Walmart management told employees in each case that the Southern Nevada Health District was notified and people who worked closely with the infected employees were sent home for quarantine.
"The situation here has become worse," said a store source. "The staff is very concerned."

The identity of the employees has not been released, and a Walmart corporate spokeswoman cited medical privacy laws and declined to confirm whether employees were tested.
"Any updates on Covid-19 cases involving friends can only be made by local health authorities," said Charles Crowson, the company's senior communications manager. "In accordance with HIPAA requirements, we do not share personal health information about any partner to protect their privacy."
Health district spokeswoman Jennifer Sizemore could not confirm the three cases and said the agency "does not identify the workplace" of a person who will be tested for the virus "unless necessary as part of contact tracing."
Sources inside Walmart expressed concern about how the company notified about 300 employees at the North Las Vegas store, choosing to notify them in small groups.

"It's been handled less than well," the employee said. "It took more than 24 hours to notify all employees. During that time, people may have been infected with the virus."
There are no local health regulations for coronavirus-related inspections at Las Vegas retailers — a growing concern as workers and customers are exposed and the number of COVID-19 cases rises. Employees are worried.
Last week, Walmart announced new safety measures to improve social distancing in its stores and is now limiting the number of customers who can be in stores at one time.
Earlier this week, a spokeswoman for Smith's Food and Drug Company confirmed that an employee at a store in northwest Las Vegas had tested positive for the virus.

"We have been notified by public health officials that our partner at our location at 7130 N. Durango Drive has tested positive for COVID-19," said Obrianna Martindale, corporate affairs manager for Smith's, which owns Kroger. "The friend is being treated, we support them and wish them all the best in their recovery.
"When we learned of the incident, we worked closely with state and local health professionals, followed all hygiene and sanitation procedures, contacted and supported our store team, and with the help of government officials, the store is still open clearly."
"We will continue to follow the guidance of local, state and federal agencies, as well as the CDC and other health agencies," Martindale added.
