Teremana Tequila Which Is Better - In general, I'm not usually a fan of young souls. Something like blanco tequila is useful in a special way, but when I'm looking for something to enjoy at the end of the evening, I reach for a spirit with at least a few colors (dark is better in my opinion). . While I loved the Teremana and Reposado tequilas, I was very excited to get my hands on the Anejo version of their tequila. Hopefully, like Rock's career, these things only get better with age.
This is definitely a product owned by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, but that's not where our story begins.
Teremana Tequila Which Is Better
Jenna Fagnan was born in Alaska but moved to San Antonio, Texas where she studied business, entertainment and Japanese and worked in a Mexican restaurant. According to Fagnan, this is where he discovered his love for authentic Mexican tequila, which unfortunately is not very common in the rest of the United States. Most people drink "mixto" tequila, which is cheaper to make but has added sugar that often leaves people with a hangover the next day. Fagnan wanted to help share 100% Mexican agave tequila with the rest of the world.

After graduating, Fagnan worked at LVMH, where he worked to store the Dom Perignon brand at the time. Because of his success, LVMH transferred him to TAG Heuer, but his heart was always in the spirit industry.
In 2010, he left his position with Ken Austin and founded Tequila Avión. Austin was an accountant by trade but worked at Gallo and Seagram's for a while before moving into private jets and starting his own business. The two share a passion for tequila, and Austin's love of airplanes spawned the Tequila Avión brand. The brand was eventually sold to French drinks giant Pernod Ricard, leaving the duo looking for what's next.
That's where Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson comes in. When Fagnan and Austin were looking for their next business venture, they met with Johnson's manager. Because Johnson loved tequila, he always wanted to launch his own brand, and after a few discussions, the three decided to work together. All three went through the process of fully understanding Johnson's preferences and tastes, going through 113 generators, changing the various components of the process until they finally reached the line they love the most, and working with suppliers to ensure that the new spirit created by the most sustainable process.
The brand name is a combination of the Latin root "earth" and the Polynesian word for "spirit", which means "spirit of the world".
Teremana Tequila Anejo Small Batch
This tequila begins with the harvesting of 100% blue agave trees that are selected and processed, leaving only the hard stems, or pina. The plants are then placed in a stone kiln for three days to be washed, a process that turns the plant's primary components into soluble sugar before being crushed by hand to extract the sugary oils.
After extraction, the sugar clears from the open tanks, not only allowing the dedicated yeast to ferment, but also fermenting the surrounding yeast to produce a unique flavor as the sugar turns into alcohol. This liquid alcohol is then filtered in a copper pot until it reaches the correct level.
For this vintage, the spirit resides in American bourbon casks that have been used for more than 12 months. There is no added sugar, which should help mask it - just water to control the strength of the bottle.
In general, the shape of the bottle is not special. It is the same design that we have seen in countless other drinks, the only difference is that the Teremana name is written in the glass of the bottle itself (which shows that although the shape is shared, they spent a little money creating custom products that get the shape, it is a very good flex). There's nothing wrong with this style - it's the perfect size to fit any bar and there's a long neck that should make pouring easy.
Told My Mom I Wanted To Try Teremana Tequila For My Bday And Got An Entire Tasting. Milagro Anejo Was The Best.
I feel the brand is a bit of a rip off from the Casamigos style. In both cases, the label uses a white label for the Blanco and Reposado, but the Anejo version turns into a black label with gold accents. That's not to say it's a bad choice - for those who choose yesterday, I think it's in line with what they might expect - it's something we've seen before, even in other popular tequila brands.
This is like a fuller version of their reposado that stays in that "golden" color category and doesn't stray into the amber category (very common in bourbons). Notably, however, the color is also much lighter than the other anejo tequilas we've reviewed.
When it comes to the fragrance, the first thing that hits you is the pronounced notes of brown sugar, caramel and vanilla. There's a little bit of grass coming out of it, but it's part of the chorus at this point and not the mainstay. However, the lemon and black pepper are just as prominent on the blanco version.
The texture here is more rounded than the other versions, and notes of black sugar dominate the flavor. It's sweet and rich - it's more like smooth whiskey than tequila at this point. I can't detect any of the green-agave notes promised by the aroma, and there's no taste of black pepper or lemon.

I think a little snow will balance that out. As usual, the ice softens the old material's profile, meaning that the important parts from the raw atmosphere can shine brightly.
So far I get everything - brown sugar and vanilla, green grass, and black pepper and citrus. Everything is there and everything fits perfectly. Nothing is really left out, which I really appreciate. To be honest, it tastes just as good as a glass of reposado well-sipped, but with a slightly different tone.
This is a much better cocktail than a regular margarita, and I think it's all because of the sweet taste we get from aging.
There's a better balance here than we usually see, and an overall sweeter profile. I think the brown sugar component is the key here, as they do a great job of balancing the sour lime juice and Cointreau without overpowering them. I only get a hint of agave wood, but by the end that black peppery note is starting to shine through, adding a nice layer of texture to the cocktail.

In some interviews she asked about this special version of tequila, Jenna Fagnan says that even though it's been a long time since the first spirit ran yesterday, they wanted to "do it right" and not just do what they want. pushing the door open. I think the taste here shows that attention to detail, and the end result is a tequila that even whiskey drinkers would enjoy.

HISTORY: In life, we care about the things that mean the most to us - family, friends, work, the good times and the bad times. This legendary tequila starring Dwayne The Rock Johnson is no different. True to Rock's motto that good things in life don't come easy, but you have to work hard for them every day, Teremana is the result of extraordinary dedication and daily effort. Made in a small Mexican town nestled in the high mountains of Jalisco, every step of this tequila-making process is carefully followed. Jimadores are harvested ripe, naturally sweet, then slowly cooked in small traditional ovens and sieved through hand sieves. The result is a sweet, delicious tequila that does more than honor its country of origin. So the name of this high-class tequila was not chosen by chance, because Teremana combines two words that mean a lot. 'Tere', derived from the Latin 'terra' for earth and 'god', a Polynesian word for spirit - Teremana is "spirit of the earth".
TASTE: The aging of this small batch tequila in oak barrels ensures that the wood is also evident in the taste. Baking in a brick oven also releases a citrus aroma. There is also a slight vanilla flavor. This tequila has real magic.
TO DRINK: This premium tequila is absolutely delicious on its own, but we're here to encourage you to drink it even better in support of the beautiful Orchard.
