Three Square Food Distribution Locations - LAS VEGAS, March 16, 2020 – In response to recent developments regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus), Three Square Food Bank – in collaboration with the Clark County School District and local agency partners – has implemented the following strategies to Ensure food security for individuals. Southern Nevada still has access to food during this uncertain time:
CCSD will continue to serve breakfast and lunch to students during school closures. Student food distribution pods will be set up at 15 schools across the valley from 8 to 11 a.m. Monday through Friday. According to federal regulations, a school-age child must be present for food distribution.

In an effort to serve as many people as possible, Three Square has partnered with selected agency partners and volunteers in key areas in the valley, who will help distribute food at 43 emergency food distribution sites. .
Las Vegas Sees Demand For Food Aid Rising 'dramatically'
The emergency food distribution sites—which have different operating dates and distribution times—were selected to maximize coverage and food distribution in Southern Nevada. Sites are located at: 21 CCSD school sites (in addition to the 15 sites CCSD has confirmed will serve breakfast and lunch); Three Station Casino properties, including Palace Station, Sunset Station and Boulder Station; 10 Only One Project LDS Church Sites; and three colleagues of the local administration of Drei Chowk.

In order to fully focus its efforts on emergency food distribution in response to COVID-19, Three Square has suspended normal food distribution to agency partners, except those included as part of the emergency food distribution model.
Three squares remain committed to helping seniors. Those age 60 and older who need food assistance are encouraged to call 702 765-4030 Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., where they will speak with a care advocate. To determine which program, service or resource is best for them. Advocates can also screen seniors for SNAP and provide information about nearby pantries dedicated to seniors, or home delivery for those in need.

The economic impact of COVID-19 is expected to increase the need for food assistance in Southern Nevada in the coming days and weeks. Ccsd, Three Square Team Up To Help Feed Students
Three Square Food Bank now has three locations as part of its mission to help those who are hungry and food insecure.
Southern Nevada's only food bank officially opened its east campus on Thursday — Hunger Action Day — at the corner of Craig Road and Walnut Street in North Las Vegas to join its north and south campuses in the They are across the street from each other. , less than a mile from the new location.
