We are very grateful to CGS hospital, Gurgaon for taking care and curing our cat Chester. We were surprised to know that there are special veterinary hospitals for pets with their best modern facilities in Gurgaon. Our cat had fallen from our 5th floor balcony in RK Puram, New Delhi and hit the 3rd floor and then the floor. She was bleeding from the period and could not walk. My youngest son cried when he saw her in pain and the same with all of us. We were all in a panic if she would survive. We rushed her to the nearest Alpha Pets Veterinary Clinic in Vasant Kunj. The doctor gave her first aid. After seeing her x-rays she suggested us to take her to Gurgaon as she had multiple fractures and there is no veterinary hospital in Delhi for such surgery to fix it. We then drove to Gurgaon's CGS Hospital, where she was admitted for surgery. The doctors were kind and we felt really relieved. Special thanks to Dr. Salisha for being patient, kind and cooperative with us. Although it was a difficult time with the family taking care of her and making sure her surgery unit is ok as she always wanted to remove the unit (steel/iron rod) attached to her leg. Our dear Foofy since last 8 years has been in and out of this state of the art CGS Pet Hospital many times for his vaccinations and personal hygiene and grooming. Every visit was a pleasant experience with Foofy going through minimal trauma, but a lot of professional care and warmth was always given to him. The last three months have been very stressful for us as a family and for the team of Doctors Vikash Chauhan, John Dominic, the boys Sumit & Prakash as Foofy all 10 years royal has become so unbearable and despite the best efforts of the CGS team his breathing last 2 May 2021. We are devastated, but thanks to the valiant efforts of the doctors and support staff, we were able to spend very caring hours with Foofy for 3 months.
