Advanced dental assistants can perform a number of dental laboratory procedures in the office and are often responsible for infection control and sterilization requirements set out in government regulations and guidelines. The program also prepares students for a variety of administrative and clerical procedures required, including word processing, document and record management, meeting scheduling, and other office handling.
This is a hybrid program, meaning that most programs are taken on campus and some of the courses in the program (less than 50% of the programs) are online.
