I loved living here! Of all the ones we have stayed in since 1994, this was the best. It was very spacious and had many features not found in others: the laundry room is big and has the best machine in the room. The kitchen pantry is large and the kitchen counter space is good. We lived in a house that faced the others with trees and a desert area. Private and quiet and beautiful when it snows. The crew was very accommodating in quickly clearing the snow/ice from the roads. If it wasn't for the investment, we would have stayed longer. We now live in a more expensive house in Portland that is half the size! Even though Horizons has raised the prices a bit, the building is still great and a great place to live!
I saw the house on August 1, when I called to look, the clear answer said that we are not available now, you can come and see our real estate. He hung up the phone. I called again to find out the closing date for the 1 bed 1 bath house, very rude customer service.
I don't know how many comments here are fake but I can tell you that this is not a good place to stay for a long time and I don't see people giving this place 5 stars. Due to work I had to move from North Reno to South and found this house. You can say that this is a good place to live. By right I mean nothing. But every now and then you will have little things that annoy you from the manager, the maintenance people that give you a headache. The environment is good but I don't appreciate the neighbors here, you can find dog poo here and there. My neighbor is an elderly woman, she complained to me about how rude the managers and maintenance guys were when she asked for permission to repair the refrigerator. She blamed him for the fridge even though it wasn't his fault. The same thing happened to me. A little criticism here and there for some reason and you know sometimes you can't argue. I'm glad I'm walking. btw, they took all the deposits and charged me an extra $78 for the skin that was broken by security upon arrival. However, there was no way to protest.

I'm so glad I found this house! I moved from Seattle to Reno and I don't know about the neighborhood and stuff. I feel very safe here and the management and maintenance are the best I have dealt with. I love my gas fireplace and the fact that I have an actual laundry room and not just a room to hang my clothes and dryer! I have seen some comments about fees when you move, and they explained that I will be charged my $200 for cleaning etc. and I think it is very good. It makes sense to me and they tell me to sign papers saying it's funny that people act like they don't. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking for a great place to stay! P.S. Love the free wipe down bed too!!!
The complex suited my needs. The ending was great. I loved the stove, laundry room, gas fireplace and the size of the kitchen. However, my part was long. Traffic noise, neighbor noise, neighbor opening and closing noise, space noise. Now they charge $1,000 a month, and no one should have to hear the constant noise in Reno, we don't live in NYC. Parking is a problem even if you pay an extra $15/month. Sometimes copyright holders block my site. Yes, my place was not stolen during work and the office refused to give me the number of the sewing company, so I just had it. The reviewer who mentioned being overwhelmed after viewing is not alone. I had no problems with the management when I moved, or when I lived there. I found them to be professional, friendly and quick to respond when there was a problem. Then, when my landlord came back for renewal, they wanted to raise my rent by $120/month, so I handed in my notice and left. About a month after I left, I received a receipt for another unit. I called them and informed them of his mistake, and they corrected the interest on my invoice and told me that I still have to pay. I asked to see evidence of the damage, and he said he took pictures but couldn't show me (what?). Of course it didn't occur to me to trust them, so I neglected to take pictures of myself when I left (I learned this lesson the hard way). A few months later, I thought they would realize their mistake and stop, but the letter came from the collection. I wanted to fight it, I wanted to prove it wrong, but I don't have my photos, so I felt nothing. I paid the collection company directly out of fear that they might miss my payment, then come after me (ie.
