A Hawai'i Quirk: You Own The Home But Not The Land
The apartment is north-west facing so it does not get sun and can be used all day. If necessary, the unit is equipped with air conditioning. If you're out late and want to sleep late the next day, you'll love the room's blackout curtains; or a nice siesta on the beach.
Honolulu has the best weather in the world! We have a lot of sunshine and our average daily temperature varies little between summer and winter (eg 9°C, 5°C).
It is an ideal place for outdoor enthusiasts. The beach is across the street where you can surf, sail, swim and ride a catamaran; Beautiful Kapiolani Park is nearby and a great place to walk, run or hike on Diamond Head! If lying on the beach is your form of exercise, this is the perfect place too!
The only reason we don't have a pedestrian rating of 88 or higher is because the schools are outside the resort. Many guests don't rent a car because there are so many activities, food trucks, eateries, good restaurants and amazing restaurants nearby! Buyers won't be disappointed either! However, if you decide to visit places that are not within walking distance, the Honolulu bus stop is 5 minutes away; or decide to rent a sports car, motorbike or bicycle across the street! There are many car rental companies in the area. There is limited paid guest parking at our property and public parking is available nearby.

The waterfront building is not fancy; There is no reception, no waterfall and no parking. However, it is very close to the beach. Some of the Beach Boys who work at Waikiki Beach surf rentals/lessons live on the property. Don't be surprised if you see sand prints in the elevator! There is a surf shop next door (along with a Mexican restaurant and a local restaurant) so mostly people without shirts or shoes hanging out or working at the surf shop. So if you feel uncomfortable around surfers, you might be better off building another building.
Our class is an excellent base for exploring the island. Easy access to Diamond Head, Honolulu Zoo, Honolulu Aquarium, Pearl Harbor, Chinatown, Great North Shore Waves, Polynesian Cultural Center, Kailua, world class golf courses and more.
