The Abbey Inn is a Best Western Plus hotel. Located on Bluff Street, close to Interstate 15, the convention center, university, temple, restaurants, and anything else in downtown St. George. It is a 15 minute drive from Tuacahn. It has a year-round outdoor pool, free breakfast, and moderate prices.
My husband has a work conference every February in St. George and I will make it a romantic getaway. There are several good hotels within walking distance of the convention center. After trying a few of them, the Comfort Inn at the Convention Center became our first choice.
If someone else is paying for your convention lodging, they may want a nicer room, pool, or breakfast at the Hilton Garden Inn or one of the neighboring hotels. But if you're paying out-of-pocket, the Comfort Inn offers all of these conveniences for a lower price.
