Classic guest rooms are approximately 325 square feet and are located in the hotel's original building, built in 1936. Furnishings include one king bed, one queen bed or two queen beds and are available from the first floor to the sixth floor.
Executive Tower Standard Rooms are approximately 500 square feet and are located on the ninth through twelfth floors. They have beautiful and spacious rooms with one king or two queen beds. They also have great views of the skyline and the New River.
The Executive Tower features three one-bed suites and one two-bed suite located on the 12th floor corner lot, with unique views of the Fort Lauderdale skyline and New River. During our stay at the Hyatt Centric Las Olas, we were upgraded to a Centric Suite during our stay at lower reservation rates. Although we were able to enjoy suites during our stay, all guest rooms have Hyatt Grand beds, 55-inch flat-screen TVs, blackout curtains, floor-to-ceiling windows, robes and slippers, coffeemakers, and mini-refrigerators.

The Centric Suite was the perfect place to kick back with a 733 square foot balcony, living room, work desk, 1.5 bathrooms and city views.
The Centric Suite is a true one-bedroom suite that offers a separate living room and bedroom. The living room has a sleeper sofa, Keurig, mini fridge, work desk, TV and powder bath. One thing that surprised me was the controls in the room. Each room had buttons on the wall to control lights, transparent curtains and blackout shades. There is no such thing as push-button persuasion.
The bathroom in our room was very spacious. The closet, ironing board, toilet and shower were all in the same room, separated from the bedroom by a sliding door, so the layout was slightly different.
Hyatt Centric Las Olas offers bee toiletries that blend honey with certified organic extracts of red clover, calendula, lemongrass and chamomile.
Florida Memory • The Governors' Club Hotel On Las Olas Boulevard
Hyatt Centric Las Olas is a small boutique property, but it doesn't lack when it comes to amenities. The rooftop pool and fitness center are located on the 8th floor and both were very spacious.
The rooftop is a great place to float, swim, kick back with a drink from the rooftop bar, or energize yourself and focus with a morning yoga session.
The fitness center is open 24 hours and offers plenty of cardio equipment, free weights, and space for yoga and stretching. The gym had plenty of sanitary napkins and hand sanitizer, which is great in today's world. And if you're into cycling, you're in luck because Hyatt Centric Las Olas has Peloton Bikes.
Hyatt Centric Las Olas One Main Restaurant Located in Harborwood 8th Floor Lobby + ELEV8 Pool Bar. Harwood + Harwood Bar is one of the hottest spots in downtown Fort Lauderdale. When the weather is nice, this space lets you step outside with doors that open onto Las Olas Boulevard.

We ate at Harborwood for breakfast and lunch during our stay. This modern American restaurant is the perfect place to people watch, soak in the downtown views, grab a tasty bite and enjoy a handcrafted cocktail.
For breakfast we had an all-American breakfast, a 3 egg omelet and a blueberry muffin. Both the main dishes at breakfast were very good. And Hyatt Centric Las Olas serves up one of our favorite coffee roasters, Panther Coffee.
And for breakfast we had Argentinian pulled chicken empanadas and roasted cabbage. You must try both these recipes. The empanadas were made by the chef and were delicious.
And last, but not least, we got a glimpse during our stay in Room 901 of the Hyatt Centric Las Olas new facility, Prohibition Speaks Simple.
Las Olas Beach Club Fort Lauderdale
This guest room has been transformed into a private conversation facility with a bartender-in-residence program for the food and beverage industry. This allows bars around the world to continue their legacy through a Section 901 pop-up event.
Room 901 opens on February 12th and is a popular Washington, D.C. hotel. Speakeasy is the first for a bartender-in-residence program at The Gibson. 901 can accommodate up to six guests at a time as a private experience and is by reservation only. To make a reservation, guests can email [email protected] or visit the bar's website. There is a minimum of $50 per person, a one-hour minimum for 1-2 guests and a two-hour minimum for 3-6 guests. When booking the speakeasy, guests will receive a password from the front desk to exchange an anonymous key to Room 901.
While the Hyatt Centric Las Olas is not a 5-star property, the service we encountered at check-in, Harborwood, valet, and everything else was top notch.
The front desk agent service was very prompt efficient and helpful. And service at Harborwood was quick.
