The teachers were very involved and taught us a lot. This course was a bit more expensive than other courses in Milan, but the location is great. I definitely recommend the course!
For me, learning Italian was a good experience, ELLCI - Milan was and still is a good educational institution, they have good native Italian teachers who teach great, speak English, keep students' attention, etc. The university is in a good location there. Train stations are nearby and amenities are adequate.
I really liked the overall impression. I was a beginner and was sent to a course that already had two weeks of classes, so I didn't understand much. But after talking to the director, I took some private lessons which helped me a lot and after that I understood almost everything in the group course. The teachers were very good and I could learn a lot from them. The students in the class were also very good, I liked them all very much. The school was about a 15-minute walk from my apartment, so I could easily get there.

I chose the 30-hour intensive course. Due to lack of time, I was only able to stay for a week, but it definitely affected my confidence in speaking Italian. Unlike many students, I don't live in Italy and speaking has been my main area of development. The teachers were well prepared and the classes were a good mix of grammar and vocabulary through different media, e.g. Listening, speaking, group activities and exercises.
My 1:1 sessions in the afternoon were more focused on what I wanted to cover, reinforcing the morning sessions or focusing on an area of interest which made for a really good mix.

Classrooms may need some serious attention, a little paint here and there will brighten up the space. During the classes, they were engaged in construction work, which led to a power cut. Because of my height, the chairs and tables were too small for me. The facilities (bathroom) were good. Great vending machines for coffee and snacks. The location was great, close to shops, restaurants, metro, etc. No events were held
