Through our five-year visionary and strategic framework and plan, working with other CDCs to provide more services to our neighborhoods is a top priority. We are fortunate to have developed a strong relationship with the Carondelet Community Improvement Federation (CCBF), which recently received a grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank in Des Moines for $1.8 million to help low- and moderate-income individuals , people with disabilities. , and elderly people with home repairs.

With our request, they included zip code 63116 (Tower Grove South) in their grant application. TGNCDC and CCBF are pleased to introduce this new program focused on helping current residents with home repair. The scope of work is determined by the needs and guidelines of the program. CCBF estimates that many repair projects cost between $15,000 and $20,000 and can include heating and cooling work, patchwork, roof and gutter replacement and repair, ADA improvements and more.

Anyone interested in learning more, please contact Kelly at 314-752-6339 with CCBF for more details on income restrictions, program instructions and how to apply.
