The University of Central Florida residence hall system in Orlando, Florida is managed by the Department of Housing and Residence Life. As of 2011, the system offers just over 6,500 beds in five residential communities on the main campus, 400 beds in the Ross College of Hospitality Management and 3,750 beds in university-affiliated housing.
Housing on the main campus is divided into five residential communities, the oldest of which is Apollo and the newest residence hall is Union West at Creative Village in downtown Orlando. Most on-campus housing is occupied by freshmen, while the majority of upperclassmen and graduate students live in off-campus apartments, houses, and co-ops.

The Residence Hall Association (RHA) is the university's residence hall association. All residents living in on-campus housing, UCF-affiliated housing, or Ross College of Hospitality Management housing are automatically members of the RHA.
Residence-style suites are available in the Libra, Apollo and Academic Village communities (Neptune, Hercules and Nike). All residence hall suites have shared bathrooms between two or three rooms, as opposed to shared bathrooms. Apartment-style housing is available in the Academic Village communities (Nike, Hercules and Neptune), the Knights Plaza towers (Towers I, II, III and IV), the Lake Claire Courtyard Apartments community and Northview. UCF also has 400 beds in the Ross College Apartments community, located on the Ross College Hospitality Management Campus. The towers at Knights Plaza house the majority of upperclassmen who live on campus.
Some societies have resident assistants, research assistants and field coordinators. On average, there is at least one resident for every 40-70 residents. The university currently employs 176 RAs, 17 research assistants and 15 regional coordinators.

Retailers and restaurants in Knights Plaza include Barnes & Noble, Domino's, Subway, formerly Skewers Grill, Burger U (formerly Tailgaters Bar & Grill), Jimmy John's, Starbucks, Gringos Locus and Nitros. That's all you care about food. The restaurant complex also houses the Princeton Review and a secure mailroom for students living in the towers. The apartments in the towers are offered on three different floors: 1 bedroom/1 bathroom and 4 bedroom/4 bathroom, most of which are 4 bedroom/2 bathroom. Each tower has around 500 residents. Tower III is a learning community for Burnett Honors College students, while most student-athletes are housed in Tower IV.
Towers at Knights Plaza, Rose College Apartments, and Northview offer RT annual contracts for their apartments for the entire academic year (fall, spring, and summer), while residents of other standard housing communities on the main campus sign contracts for them. Room only for one or two semesters at a time.
To supplement the beds provided on campus, the university has partnered with two off-campus housing communities to create “college-affiliated apartments.” These communities have approximately 3,750 beds in Knights Circle and The Pointe in Central. While both communities offer some UCF services such as UCF police service, drop-in rates, and shuttle service on class days,
Housing on the main campus is usually fully booked before the start of the fall semester and cannot accommodate all applicants. The university plans to build additional housing on its main campus, including a new residential complex between Libra and the Academic Village, near the Recreation and Wellness Cter.

Greek housing is also available on the main campus of the Greek Park community, which has more than 450 beds. There are nine sororities and four fraternities on campus. There was an additional fraternity house on campus, which was demolished in May 2008, and two new houses and a Greek life center are under construction. All residence halls at Greek Park, while located on university property, are owned and maintained by their respective organizations, with the exception of the four houses that are university-owned and referred to eligible organizations.
UCF plans to build Greek Park II, which will have a much larger population than Greek Park, making it financially feasible for the university.
Northview is located directly north of UCF's main campus and within walking distance of Spectrum Stadium, a luxury student housing complex completed in 2013. The community has 600 students and includes two faith-based community centers, Hillel Jewish Stadium.
As with all other learning communities on campus, students must purposefully strive to live in this community, and the house is not shaped by any particular faith. Northview has the same amenities as other apartment communities, such as: B. Shuttle transportation, key card access only, and a resident mail carrier. It features additional amenities including: an outdoor pool, rooftop tiki terrace, home office, dry sauna, beach volleyball area, human-sized chess board, indoor gym, triathlon lounge and attached garage. Parking spot. Due to its location across county lines, law enforcement responsibility falls under the jurisdiction of the Seminole County Sheriff's Office. The community is owned by a third party but is managed by the UCF Department of Housing and Residence Life.

In 2005, the university opened two houses on the Ross College of Housing Management campus. These rooms offer space for 400 residents and 8 interns. The community includes an outdoor pool, community sitter, outdoor barbecue area and key card-only access to the building. The campus is under the jurisdiction of the UCF Police Department and offers a shuttle service to the main campus on class days. Ideal for all UCF students, on-campus apartments are based on a two-semester (fall/spring) academic lease, with summer leases also available.
Union West is located 14 miles from UCF's main campus in downtown Orlando in Creative Village. This is UCF Housing's newest community and opened in Fall 2019. The 15-story building is within walking distance of Amway Sitter, Camping World and the Bob Carr Theater. Union West is a high-rise complex combining academic classrooms (floors 1 to 5) and residence halls (floors 6 to 15).
The community has 600 residents, an attached parking garage and first floor retail space. Similar to Knights Circle, UCF and Wallace College students can apply to live there. The rental agreements are based on three semesters (fall/spring/summer).
