T Mobile Coverage In My Area - The map below shows T-Mobile's 700 MHz A, B and C block licenses and leases (pink) and licenses pending FCC approval or sale (shaded orange). The officially announced markets where the 12-band 700 MHz network is deployed are circled 12. T-Mobile is marketing the 12-band network as LTE-700 MHz Extended Band. Green circles are TV channel 51 stations protected by FCC rules. The A block spectrum cannot be used in the green circles until the stations move to lower channels. Click on the stations in the green circles for more information.

Except for the area above the map, most of the A Block spectrum is not for sale. Spectrum Gateway estimates that 10 million more people could sell licenses to T-Mobile between 2017 and 2018. T-Mobile has flipped the switch on its 5G network and put it to work in parts of the US it says covers 200 million people. Although the network is reportedly live today, no one will be using it until later this week: the first two phones to support it will go on sale this Friday.

The "provincial" rollout of 5G is based on a slower form of 5G that uses T-Mobile's 600 MHz frequency. This "low-band" 5G essentially takes radio waves similar to LTE and combines them with new technology to achieve faster speeds.
T-Mobile isn't offering details on what kind of speeds you'll see on the new network, and the actual improvements will vary widely by location. "In some places, 600 MHz 5G is much faster than LTE." With others, customers don't see that much of a difference," says a T-Mobile spokesperson
Because T-Mobile relies on spectrum like LTE — which travels relatively far — the carrier can spread it over a wide area. It is the first major wireless carrier to have nationwide 5G coverage.
What T-Mobile isn't claiming are national bids for the fastest form of 5G: millimeter wave (mmWave). mmWave relies on much faster air waves to produce much higher speeds, but the signal doesn't travel very far and is easily blocked by almost anything in its path. T-Mobile has already started rolling out mmWave in a few cities, but there's no word today on whether it's been expanded. mmWave applications are likely to be limited to densely populated areas such as cities and sports stadiums due to their physical limitations.

On Friday, T-Mobile will start selling the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren Edition for $899.99 and the Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G for $1,299.99. Both can connect to their own 600MHz 5G network, and all T-Mobile and Metro plans include 5G connectivity. Phones do not support mmWave.
Both phones have some ability to get faster speeds on the road: T-Mobile says both support the midrange frequencies that Sprint currently owns. If the merger between the two companies closes, T-Mobile will reallocate that frequency as part of its 5G network, further speeding up these phones' connections.
All major US carriers have been racing to launch 5G this year. At this point, everyone had adopted it in some form, though it was mostly in select locations and with select techniques. The next big rollout is expected to come from AT&T, which plans to launch its own low-band 5G this month, albeit in just five cities.
To promote the launch, T-Mobile ran this very funny ad featuring its current and future CEOs and its CTO: Enter your zip code below to see if T-Mobile 5G Home Internet 5G is available in your area.

Reasons I Switched To T Mobile
T-Mobile 5G Home Internet simplifies your home's Internet connection and all associated costs. You don't have to worry about early termination fees, setup fees or data overages when you're a T-Mobile 5G Home Internet user.
T-Mobile 5G Home Internet offers users download speeds from 33 Mbps to 182 Mbps depending on their location, time of day, signal strength and availability. Although these download speeds are generally faster than satellite or DSL connections, cable and fiber networks are capable of much higher speeds. However, T-Mobile 5G Home Internet speeds are more than enough for everyday Internet use, such as streaming Netflix and taking Zoom calls.
Although T-Mobile 5G Home Internet only offers one package, it comes with unlimited data. Users will not face soft or hard data caps that lead to reduced speeds.
Installation of T-Mobile 5G home internet does not require a professional technician. Since users can set up the service themselves by connecting a 5G Wi-Fi network device (modem and router combination), they don't need to pay installation fees.
